Shopware + KudTax

Connect Shopware with KudTax and automate your e-commerce accounting – no manual Excel work, GoBD-compliant and ready for DATEV.

Shopware tends to sit with sellers running a larger catalogue and their own warehouse, often with a B2B share, mixed VAT rates and invoice purchase. That shifts the problem: the hurdle is not the number of orders but the number of special cases per order. The import reads line items with their VAT rate instead of stopping at header level.

What to watch for with Shopware

Mixed VAT rates in one basket

An order containing both seven and nineteen per cent lines cannot be posted correctly at header level, and the shipping charge then has to be split proportionally too. Booking the order value as one sum reports the wrong tax.

Cross-border B2B is exempt — if the number checks out

Intra-Community supplies to businesses are exempt, but only with a valid and verified VAT ID for the recipient. Without that evidence the seller owes the tax after the fact, out of an amount already collected.
