WooCommerce + KudTax

Connect WooCommerce with KudTax and automate your e-commerce accounting – no manual Excel work, GoBD-compliant and ready for DATEV.

WooCommerce is a plugin rather than a closed system, and that shapes the bookkeeping. Payment method, tax logic and invoice numbering all depend on which extensions are installed, so what sits cleanly in one shop's export is missing entirely from the next. The import therefore reads orders and payments separately and joins them on the order number.

What to watch for with WooCommerce

The tax logic depends on configuration

WooCommerce computes tax by the rules configured in the shop, including rounding behaviour and whether prices are held gross or net. Two shops with identical catalogues can therefore report different tax amounts, so the export has to be read against the actual configuration rather than an assumption.

The payment is not in the order export

The order export shows what was ordered, not what actually moved. Fees, partial payments and chargebacks live with the payment provider, and without both sides the reconciliation stays incomplete.
