What to watch for with Unite
Cash discount reduces the taxable base
When a customer takes the cash discount, the consideration drops after the fact — and with it the VAT owed. Set only the receipt against the invoice and book the difference as an expense, and the tax goes uncorrected, paid on an amount that was never collected.
